Thank you for your interest in The Cracking the Code Open! This is a very exciting time for Parkinson’s research. For the past 14 years I have been working alongside collaborators across the country to find disease modifying treatments for Parkinson’s Disease. We finally have promising treatments for people with genetic forms of PD similar to the targeted therapies which have made such a difference in cancer treatment today. In order to move this promising research forward, we need to genetically sequence thousands of patients. We hope to offer testing to every Parkinson’s patient at MGH. This will empower patients by giving them their diagnosis and helping them to find clinical trials and future treatments. Your participation in the Cracking The Code Open along with your philanthropic donations and sponsorship will directly fund this testing and related research and help MGH advance genetic research in the fight against Parkinson’s Disease.
Enjoy a day of unforgettable golf at the world class The Pinehills Golf Club in Plymouth Massachusetts, home to two championship courses designed by Jack Nicklaus and Rees Jones. This is your opportunity to play a round on this highly coveted course. You can expect outstanding conditioning since the course will host a USGA qualifier in the week leading up to our tournament.
This day of fun and learning is designed for more than just avid golfers. Golfers of all skill levels (including those with Parkinson’s Disease) will have access to several PGA Professional led worskshops. Attendees are invited to attend the networking dinner to follow which will feature a silent auction.
This flagship event is intended to fund vital research. Philanthropic support from corporations and generous individuals will advance the fight against Parkinson’s and empower patients with PD. Please consider sponsoring at the highest level possible.
